Games at the Church; 4th of July Fireworks

On the morning of fireworks, the family went to the church and set up 9-square and had fun playing that game in the coolness of the hot summer day.

Looks like they played another game as well.

Once back home, Codenames was the game of choice.

We enjoyed our flank steak/grilled shrimp dinner.

Then it was time to make shuttle drives up to the golf course getting the whole family up there.

A super nice couple saw us dropping off carloads of people and told us we could park in their driveway. That was so kind of them as the children were tired at the end of the show.
This is what the children had stayed in town an extra 10 days to experience. It was a fun time as always.

We missed it last year when it was canceled and were really looking forward to going once again this year. And having the whole family there was super special.
