Family Halloween Party

It's that time of year again. The time when we all dress up and pose for pictures in our silly costumes. Look at Nani. She's gone batty!!

Amanda, Rachel, Andy, Lindsey, Austin, Maggie and Preston were just getting back from a bike race for Preston in St. George, so they weren't wearing costumes (although Amanda made up a "costume" for every one of them with what they were wearing at the time).

Madison was so darling when she first arrived on the scene. She had the happiest smiley face. So did Rachel who just loves holding babies.

Brooke and Caroline's bears were also wearing costumes.

Speaking of posing... We talked Preston into posing on the sidewalk so we could take a picture of his bike-crashing wounds.

Time for singing and candles. Happy October birthdays to Michelle, Nina, Luke, Dad, Mom and Nani.

Glen decided to FaceTime Luke since it was his actual birthday that day.

He joined in with singing happy birthday to Nani and helping her blow out her candles.

After dinner entertainment was Nani in the darkened kitchen showing us her specially lighted fingertip gloves.

Chris and Mark Sealed in the Brigham City Temple

My good friend Chris Janes Williams got sealed to her husband Mark in the Brigham City Temple. They had gotten married on her birthday and then got sealed on his birthday. Great way to spend their birthdays, that's for sure.

 It was a beautiful ceremony inside the temple and a beautiful day outside the temple.

Turns out my Aunt Carol (my dad's sister) and Uncle Lyle are good friends with Mark's sister Deanna and her husband. He did coaching with Lyle at West High and was bishop when Grandma Ward lived in the house across the street from Carol and Lyle.

She knows my dad and all my aunts and uncles. He was telling me things about Uncle Joe and Uncle Earl. It was lots of fun chatting with them about all my Ward relatives.

This connection makes me feel like Chris and I are now somehow related to each other through marriage.

She has always felt like a sister to me and now it seems like it's really true...almost...
