Brooke is "the face of Lagoon" as Rebecca puts it. Since she is such an avid employee of Lagoon and loves working there so much, it seems appropriate to see her smiling face in their social media posts.

Natalie was excited to be able to go home for a short visit over Easter weekend. Rebecca had taken her to the airport because we had our temple ordinance worker shift during that time.
It was a surprise to see her text as we were coming home from the temple asking if we could go to the airport to pick her up. Her flight was canceled so she was flying out early the next morning.
The children asked for popcorn. It was Maverick's first time sitting on the cabinet in front of the popper, watching his grandpa sing the popcorn song while waiting for the kernels to start popping.
Klarissa had once again secured some tickets to the White House Easter Egg Hunt. This year Abe stayed home with the little boys while the older kids and Klarissa met up with some friends of theirs to participate in the event.

It was fun looking at photos of Wynne's "Matilda"-themed birthday party.
Speaking of "Matilda"... That was the name of the play Madison performed in at her school. We were sad to miss it because we were out of town.
Caroline is now on her school's track team. It always cracks us up because she says she HATES running.

Carson was in his school play, "Lion King." We were able to watch one of his performances. The school children did a fabulous job!

I got a few minutes to hold Maverick between Caroline and Madison taking good care of him.
Diane and Grant Stewart invited us to dinner one evening. So sweet of them. Love it when I don't have to cook.
I was able to enjoy a delicious girls' luncheon at Jan Evans's home.
Bruno and Colleen Kossin invited our friend group to their home to watch the movie "Escape From Germany." They were so cute posting a movie poster on their front door.
Bruno is from Germany. One of his relatives had a small part in the movie. Glen and I were pleasantly surprised to see Ben's friend, Chase Elwood, portraying one of the missionaries in the movie. It was such a good movie.
We were so happy we got to watch it with the Kossins because after the movie, Bruno told of how his family escaped Germany towards the end of World War II when he was 4 years old.
April is the birth month for Diane, Jane and Colleen, so we had to go celebrate. We ate at Pizzeria Limon.
It was wonderful to have all seven of us together. These get togethers are very therapeutic for us. Love these friends!
