One day Spencer put all the markers in the felt pumpkin basket while he drew. Usually Caroline grabs that basket the second she walks in the door and carries it around with her the whole time she is here. She loves it. I'm thinking this must have been a day when Caroline was in school. FYI: Spencer is an expert at drawing trucks.
Well look at these two carving it up once again. They decided to get busy carving two more pumpkins for decorations for our family Halloween party.
Looks like these little boys approve of the carved pumpkins.
Now time for the costume parade--via photos by the bushes in our front yard. As Sarah pointed out, my parents have the most beautiful autumn leaves backyard backdrop for our Halloween costume photos, but we made do with this backdrop this year.
I thought I'd better get these Halloween photos posted before it's Thanksgiving, but then again, maybe it wouldn't be such a bad thing to post this photo of Glen and me later in the month.
Ben and Haley were two of the little kids in Despicable Me.
What is Brooke dressed as...? Watch her transformation.
Rebecca is a ceiling fan, Madison is a ladybug, Brooke is a blue bird, and Caroline is a mermaid. Unfortunately, Spencer was throwing up, so he and Dallas missed the party.
Next up is the Excell family a/k/a Star Wars characters and robots.
Nani is a hangnail.
Andy and Amanda's family were not going to make it to the party because they were in St. George for Preston's bicycle competition. Imagine how excited we were when they decided to come home a day early and were driving by North Salt Lake right at dinner time.
The fact they were not in costume was a disappointment because they are always so good at dressing up. Cute Rachel worked on a costume in the car. Way to go M&M Rachel!!!
Wes was pretty unrecognizable with his awesomely painted face complete with three horns protruding from his forehead.
Sam dressed up as Einstein. I loved the profile look of all that hair.
Kathy looked like she was cast for a movie all perfectly made up as Cruella deVil.
Kaelyn brought a black cat and a little devil along with her to the party.
Mom had us so nervous as she got out of the car with band-aids all over her face and her arm in a huge sling. We didn't know if she had really fallen or if it was her costume. Happily we learned she and Dad had come to the party dressed as the fall hunt. Good one, parents!!
Time for dinner.
Delicious hamburgers and hot dogs were served up by the grill chef Mr. Pilgrim.
Time for dessert birthday celebrating.
Another great Halloween bash!!!!

I love how you meticulously went through what everyone was dressed as in my family and then Sarah got "Next up is the Excell family a/k/a Star Wars characters and robots." You're not going to attempt to name who exactly they were?
Love all the family picts and the costumes - amazing. I think Sam could have doubled as "The Donald."
