Sea day we started with breakfast in the dining room.
We spent a lot of time in the Maharajas Lounge on our cruise. The elephants at the entrance let us know we were in the right spot.
We were first introduced to it when we went to our first Legacy class that morning. The swivel lounge chairs were all lined up facing the screen where all the important Legacy information was being displayed. Yes, I did attend that class (with my novel on my lap).
Our friend, Stephen, showed up to the class as well. He was about as excited as I was to attend (he was doing it because he loves his wife). He showed me he was wearing his BYU shirt that day because BYU had a game and in honor of my husband who loves BYU so much.
A little side note is that Stephen actually started enjoying the Legacy classes and became a regular attender whereas I attended the first part of the first afternoon class in The Chamber and not only did I leave partway through the class, but Mom and Nani skipped out with me.
The Chamber was not conducive to that kind of a meeting. Only some of the group could actually sit where they could see the screen on the main floor.
The rest of us went up to the second level where we sat trying to peer down through the banister trying to see what was going on.
And we had this impish creature staring out at us. It felt kind of creepy in The Chamber and we were happy to escape that atmosphere.
I think that day we went to the art auction in the afternoon.
It was formal night in the dining room and we got all dressed up for dinner.
We had the best waiter ever--Vincente--who had the cutest smile and took the best care of us. All the Legacy group were given a group of tables where we could mix it up each night and move to different tables to get a chance to visit with a lot of different people.
We decided to stay at the same table every night because we loved the Websters and we also loved the service Vincente and his helper, Elicia, gave us.
Nani's raw beef is on the left and my cooked meat is on the right.
Our fancy desserts that evening.
Our evening show was in The Palace. It was a beautiful theater with the most unique, three-dimensional curtain across the stage.
Dad enjoyed visiting with one of the Legacy program owners while waiting for the show to begin.
Here are the girls anxious to see the show "Wild, Cool, & Swingin'" put on by the Royal Caribbean Dancers and Singers.
Our after-the-show entertainment was back in the Maharajas Lounge watching Finish That Lyric Game Show.
Our cabin attendant was Orwin. Dad and Mom had Wendy. Orwin always had a big smile and a happy greeting for us whenever he saw us.
These are the towel creations we found on our beds that evening:
a penguin in Dad and Mom's room and a swan in ours.
