Rebecca kept the bun in her oven up until one week before she was due.
When the doctor mentioned inducing her a little early, her aching back convinced her she would do it.
Off to the hospital she went on the morning of February 28th which meant the other three children were placed in my care. I just love finding lines of toys the children make when they are here.
Dinner pressure was on to see if the children would eat the veggie soup their mother said they all like.
The girls did awesome eating theirs all gone. Spencer looks excited about it.
He eventually ate two bites.
Dallas Face Timed with us so the three children could watch their baby sister having a bath.
Next morning we took the children to the hospital to see baby Madison.
Brooke felt it very necessary to introduce bear to her baby sister.
Dallas took Brooke with him to Provo for the day. Back at our home we had a couple of tired, grumpy children.
Spencer perked up a bit when he started playing with the supplies for the new kitchen faucet Glen was installing.
Caroline asked for brown ball cereal for her lunch.
Next time they both started crying and fighting with each other, Glen separated them and they both fell asleep.
Baby Madison came home from the hospital.
Caroline loves dolls. Now she has a real baby doll to hold.
Doctor day! Getting two girls (three if Rebecca counts herself) all ready to see the doctor.
Madison did not like having her clothes off for the weigh in.
She lost a few ounces since her birth when she weighed 7 lbs. 4 ozs.
Caroline did not like to hear her baby sister crying.
The doctor said everything is a-okay with her.
Her grandma thinks she's pretty a-okay as well.
It was a very bright and colorful doctor's office. Lots of fun things for the children to do while there.
Caroline LOVED turning the doctor's chair round and round and round and round and rolling it back and forth across the room. She thought everything was pretty fun UNTIL she found out she was going to get three immunizations.
I got a kick out of Spencer who had slyly gotten his mother's wallet and slid himself into a corner so he could investigate what was in it. He looked pretty guilty whenever we looked over at him.
The funniest thing was when the nurse and Rebecca were bribing Caroline with suckers for after she got her shots. They promised her THREE suckers.
Spencer perked right up and said, "I want a shot!!!!"
