The kids spent so much time at the chicken coop. Brooke loved to feed the chickens grass through the holes.
The chicken Andy grilled was super delicious. We were assured it was not a freshly slaughtered one from their coop.
Everyone enjoyed all the food options.
Amanda finished the baby quilt we helped make during Kaelyn's baby shower.
Maggie and Rachel could hardly wait to hold Dennis and Kaelyn's new baby Samantha.
August birthday person was Kenna with a shout-out to Newland turning one. Kenna did give permission for Caroline to blow out her candles.
And my, oh my, did Caroline LOVE the brownie cake. She had seconds and I think even thirds. There she goes with plate in hand.
More playing for the kids and the adults even joined in. Nani is swinging and a group of big people went over to check out the chicken coop.
What a super fun playhouse a neighbor just barely gave to Andy and Amanda. They got it all freshly painted and cemented into place just in time for our party. Ladder in the front, slide at the back and a fireman's pole in the middle.
As Glen and I were saying our good-byes, a rousing game of arm wrestling was just beginning. May the best man win...
Fun time, Andy and Amanda! Thanks for hosting!!

That first picture just looks so idyllic. I'm glad you brought your camera to document the fun evening. Too bad you left early; you missed when they let the chickens out of the coup and the kids got to chase them all around. Favorite highlight right there!
Awwww! I'm super sad we missed it. It looked like it was fun! Those pictures were all so beautiful. I love the country look of their backyard. Now they have to hurry and host another one so I can go see all the fun for myself!
